Powerful and versatile
The MPC5000 is the first MPC ever to include 8-track streaming hard disk recording, a 20-voice, 3-oscillator analog synthesizer with arpeggiator, a new sequencing engine with 960 ppq resolution, pad and track muting and mixing, 64 continuous sample tracks. There's even a new effects engine with four effects buses and two effects per bus.

Drum/phrase sampler, large display
You get a 64-voice drum/phrase sampler with 64MB memory ? expandable up to 192MB. The display is twice the size of the MPC2500 and MPC1000 so waveforms appear crystal-clear. Integrated Chop Shop 2.0 now supports stereo chops and Patched Phrases. The MPC5000 is the first MPC to include Random and Cycle sample playback in addition to velocity Zone Play. A turntable preamp is also included.

In-the-box production
The MPC5000's virtual analog synth eliminates need for external analog synth modules or buggy software based synthesizers. Its 8-track direct to disk recorder lets you produce your whole song in the MPC and then mix it down with the internal sequenced programs and any input thru material. Add the optional CD/DVD drive and you can then burn an audio or data CD or your mix. Over 650MB of premium-quality sounds from Loopmasters are included to get you up and running with pro-quality production in seconds

ok i have a question when im recording or just playing it it stops it sometimes clicks how could i stop that cause its giving me a hard time recording

Hello Hope you are well. I have the Pro tools 8 LE with the new Mac Pro 15'. I 'm going thru with the MBox. I get a signal on my box and Pro tool levels. But when I start recording I get no signals on my tracks. Can you help me with the problem? My Respect to You.

Cool. Why can't I hear my sounds without being in record mode. I have the MBox Pro 2, LE 7.4 and I want to be able to hear my sounds without being in record mode. Do I need another piece of equipment? Also, I'm struggling with transferring my old tracks into the Protools and having each track be quantized together. I'm having a hard time with the trimming away of each wave to be one time. Any suggestions?

I used my midi keyboard and made a beat....tried to bounce to disk but the bounce to disk option is greyed out...can someone plz tell me why

Hmm, so either you haven't uploaded the other segments, I haven't found them yet, or you're not planning on uploading them b/c it's a teaser to encourage us to buy the DVD... Which is is? :) And assuming it's the third option, what DVD is it, and where could I buy it?? :D
