Even though personally I think homosexuality is wrong I don't think it's right to make homosexual marriage illegal. Just because a lot of people disagree with it doesn't mean it should be illegal. A lot of people disagree with Christianity...does that mean it should be illegal for me to believe in God? Atheists can freely think I'm wrong and I can think that homosexuality is wrong...but I don't think it's the government's right to decide either.

Yes, church and state should be separate - but it's just as close-minded for people to deny gay marriage as it is for people ignorant of the true Christian faith to post absolute garbage like this on the internet, and it's completely hypocritical for you to judge every single church in the Nation with the same generalizations that homosexuals have been fighting for years. It takes everyone a step back; and it's a slap in the face for those Christians who spend their time supporting gay marriage.

@Monkeyboy92037 I didn't say homosexuality is wrong indefinitely...I said it is my personal view that it is wrong. So I disapprove of one small part of your life...I have several homosexual friends and one of my greatest mentors is a homosexual. So I disapprove of one small part of their lifestyle...that's my right as it is theirs to live that way. They might disapprove of my choice to smoke cigarettes but it is my right to do that as well.

I, for one, celebrate the diversity of humanity.

But if you illegalize gay marriage then soon straight marriage will be in danger! And then what? Slippery slopes slip both ways. Marriage is an agreement made between two people legally able to consent so that kinda excludes children dogs and corpses along with all non-setient creatures or things.
