How could he call true bugs "water beetles"? Isn't he a specialist/entomologist?
-
Those are not predaceous diving beetles. They are giant water bugs.
In case your wondering what the difference is, giant water bugs are order Hemiptera and are not beetles and predaceous diving beetles are order Coleoptera are not bugs (in the technical sense of the word).
