The Hawaii Warriors were looking for their first conference win taking on Fresno State for the 42nd time, more than any other opponent. Hawaii fought hard, but the more experienced and physical Bulldogs was to much for them to handle. The final score Fresno State 42, Hawai'i 17.

I've have been a UH fan since I was eleven starting in '92. Even though I lived in Michigan, I follow offseason recruiting, and I pay to watch every UH game thats not on national TV. & me being 5 hours ahead of Hawaii time, its really late here by the time kickoff is for most games. I must say, that i'm not able to keep up with local media, I'm not pleased with the job that our current coach is doing. I'm not mad at June Jones moving on, but I'm fearful of us turning back into the VonAppon years
