도구 사용을 최소화하여 간편하면서, 모발 손상도 줄일 수 있는 방법으로 웨이브 헤어를 연출해보자. 세갈래로 땋았다가 풀어 만드는 웨이브로 매우 자연스러운 것이 특징. 지속력과 고정력을 더하기 위하여 볼륨 무스와 스프레이를 사용하는데, 젖은 모발에 볼륨 무스를 바르고 살짝 건조시킨 후 모발을 땋고 다시 드라이어의 열과 스프레이로 컬을 고정시킨다. 저녁에 땋아 밤새 자연방치 후 아침에 풀어, 윤기를 부여하는 에센스 등으로 결을 정돈해주어도 OK~! 두상이 작아 보이도록 지그재그 가르마를 타고 앞머리는 취향대로 자연스레 내리거나 페이스 라인을 따라 땋거나 꼬아 탑 부분에 동그랗게 고정해 포인트를 준다.
