Breaking News: July 29, 2008 Chino Hills Earthquake (Los Angels Area)

On July 29th 2008 a magnitude 5.4 earthquake hit Southern California. The quake was felt in Los Angeles to the west, San Diego to the south, and Las Vegas to the northeast.

See I went to various websites and they all said the same thing. You quoted USGS I went there and found the above passage. You my judgemental friend are losing this arguement. (Get under a desk or table and hang on to it, or move into a hallway or get against an inside wall. STAY CLEAR of windows, fireplaces, and heavy furniture or appliances.

@ynnhojhairam So you read one article and it throws away everything most of your teachers, most of what we have seen on TV and what almost every website I have seen today also states. Think about it..its shaking..A) Do I run outside? B) Do I duck under something sturdy? Brain storm for yourself the dos and donts of each. Now granted a major earthquake and no matter what we do we are screwed...but think hard on why ducking and covering makes sense over running outside right away.
