PROCO RAT2 demo

A demo of the PROCO RAT2. My playing sucks but RAT sounds great! I played RAT through Hughes&Kettner Edition Blue 15-R with my Gibson Les Paul Classic 1993.

Too fuzzy for ACDC and Zeppelin. Good pedal anyway. Made in USA or China? Do you know if there is any difference between the old one made in US and the new one made in China? I've heard they're quite the same!

Same circuit, sound is practically identical, but the Chinese version has cheaper construction, especially the pots.

BTW, in nearly every video review they've got the RAT set up to sound like an annoying trebly buzzsaw, but it can sound smooth if you set it right. It'll also do some surprisingly good low gain crunch sounds. In fact that's mainly what I use my RAT for, to the point where I almost never touch my tube screamer any more.
