Em Støy Drum Demonstration

This drum demonstration was put together using two stills cameras placed in my drum rehearsal room. The cymbals are a mixture of vintage Zildjian cymbals and Paiste cymbals. The kit is a Yamaha Stage Custom, and the kick pedals are Pearl 120 P models. The right kick pedal is from a double and the left is a single kick. I prefer to use two single kicks than using a double, but at this point in time I only have these two. I put together this piece from some Thrall songs and from a song that I used to play as part of a different project called Secret Surprise. I wanted to make the kick action very prominent, and so I placed one of the cameras under my stool. The main camera (from which the audio is taken) was placed on the mantle-piece above the fireplace. I wanted to make a piece that reflected a relaxed style of natural drumming for me. I hope that you have enjoyed this piece. - E

Great drumming Em. Like your style of drumming and the drum pedal action with your Nike sneakers hitting the drum pedals. I like the Nike sneakers in the video and the action during the drum solo. Excellent drum piece. You really rock the drums.
