Now here was man, that had the balls, that had the guts, dared to challenge the Lee-governed empire. He tried to give the best, not for himself, but for the citizens. But before he could do anything further, they sued him, and made him a bankrupt. Sad to see JBJ go, when the country needs him to bring balance in the one-sided system. Sir, you will always be remembered...

I think there are more you know than you spoke in this short speech.
Where can you have the information to knkow what is wrong with the system.

I'm with you, Mr J B Jeyaratnam. I have been thinking about how to change our lifestyle in Singapore. The system are too harsh for its citizens. You are correct. We truly needed a change. The depression and stress has reached its limit. You have to convince investors not to worry about their investments and their business(if that is what LKY is threatening) but the changes for Singaporean are important. We, the citizens, are the PULSE OF SINGAPORE. Yes, I am with you for a change!!

punjabichambers - where were you in 1981 Anson whem JBJ was voted in ?...you talk about racial numbers when Anson was about Everton Park and Jln Bukit Merah ?..if you were there, you would have seen the chinese cheering all the way in the night rallies ! JBJ is right - it's the system (serve SG well in the poverty of 1950s / 60s /70s but open your eyes and senses now)..SG will not survive into the coming decades..Read Samuel Huntingdon !!
