Part eight of a series from the 2008 Suwannee Dulcimer Retreat at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park in White Springs, Florida. The finale wraps things up with Steve Eulberg on hammered dulcimer, David Beede on fretless gourd banjo and a home-again, home again.

  • Thanks, Daniel!

  • That's a hammered dulcimer - related in name only to the mountain dulcimer.

  • What the heck is that thing he is playing in the beginning?

  • Great episode! That was some hammering in the beginning. Keep strumming!

  • He brought one - Steve Eulberg played it quite a bit, but I did drag a finger across one - super-sweet! He's made Aaron O'Rourke a prototype dulcimer with radiused fretboard, it is just insane - what an amazing tone and feel.

  • I love David's guord banjo. Did he show you hit boat-backed dulcimers?
