@JarJarIsANerfherder and I haven't seen all of season 3, 4, 5, or 6 (though i've seen bits and pieces for all), i've seen Rossi bend the rules many times and it lead cases to a close. So basically, if you think of Rossi as the opposite of Gideon, I think you can enjoy his character a little bit more. Though, i still don't truly like his character to this day, and i hate the fact that in every case he KIND OF seems to not care about the victims compared to Gideon...

@JarJarIsANerfherder While like you say, Rossi definitely isn't a very deep character compared to Gideon, he is a little bit more sarcastic, humorous, and isn't afraid of political bs. One of the main problems with Gideon was that while he was HIGHLY resourceful, and was an EXCELLENT profiler, he always seemed to get emotionally scarred after each case than most agents (which is essentially why Patinkin left, but in the end it was a terrific exit).

I was SOOOOO PISSED OFF when I found out this Mantegna faggot replaced Gideon's role, sounds like a pussy, looks like a pussy, and sounds SUPER retarded. Like Gideon always sounds SUPER resourceful, while Rossi just looks like an idiot when he claims to have written a BOOK on certain subjects. However, after a few months, I've began to appreciate Rossi's character, since i changed my perspective on him.

I'll have so much hate responses for this but I did not like Lola Glaudini but I miss Mand Patinkin. Joe Mantegna makes me wish he played a victim who was stabbed 45549836594365 times than the starring character. He was a better spaniard, but his character certainly isn't as deep or well writen as Mandy's nor is his acting exactly as good. My favorite cast is With Mandy Patinkin after Lola left with Paget Brewster.
