This used to be one of the themes of my radio show. I woke up today with the bridge running through my head really loud. Had to come on line and find it.

One of the most underrated and under heard bands of the 80s.
The only place I heard them was on the left end of the radio dial.

#1 Awesome band, especially "Town and Country", an album I'm still listening to 25 years later.
#2 I always thought the 3rd lyric issue was "minimal, animal, it is the borrowed beast". Guess we'll all keep loving the tune, no matter what words we're using.

I love this song! I'm a Rave-Ups fan but didn't realize this was them.

If you listen closely, he slurs the words "It's in". It comes out sounding like "Tsin the highway".

@1957Jimmer Thanks again, Jimmer! I guess that ends the discussion of that lyric! What a great Town & Country track - and one of The Rave-Ups' best, IMO. You can just get lost in this song.
