  • great video, thanks for posting, I must have watched it a dozen times over the past 2 weeks

  • Thank you!

  • I worked at this store in Mill Valley in the 1980s. It was a cool place, dedicated deeply to music and featuring the most knowledgeable staff you have ever met. I mourn its passing and any other well-stocked independent music store that was run with passion.

  • Thanks for your comment-- what a dream job! Do you know how John's doing? I hope he's enjoying his retirement.

  • I'm trying to figure out what song he played when he opened for Dylan last night, he was repeating stuff back and it included "I don't want to be a soldier momma" when he repeated stuff back. I know thats a John Lennon lyric, but it wasn't a cover of that song.

  • I haven't been able to catch any of the EC/Dylan shows (wrong coast!), but on the last tour with the Imposters EC was singing bits of "I Don't Want to be a Soldier" during "River in Reverse." If you heard "Wake me up, wake me up" as a refrain in the song, it was definitely "River in Reverse." (From the album of the same name, as they used to say...)
