this is a manual right? have you driven the paddle shifter auto? do you know if the performance is comparable? im looking at buying the genesis and dont know which one to get. a long commute is keeping me away from manual. i love to drive it like i stole it, so can i drive the paddle shifters anywhere close to a manual?
btw my 'weekend warrior' is a 550 hp cobra w a tremec 6 spd.... so do i really need to get the 5spd over the paddle gen?

@setho77 Get the AT. Considering your long commute, and your weekend toy, the MT 6spd in the GC isn't really worth it unless you plan on heavily modding the car. It is extremely notchy and I'm on my second transmission since the first went to hell with grindings inbetween shifts.
The 6spd AT is a ZF made transmission, extremely well built and quick, it isn't extremely precise though, it is after all just a torque converter.

ok cool. any idea on what i'll have to upgrade once i add a supercharger?
will i have to touch the tranny, bigger gears, rear end maybe?
i plan on having it over 400 hp? any pointers/advice would be appreciated!

@setho77 Then don't get the AT. It cannot hold the TQ of a supercharger as confirmed by ZF themselves.
You'll definately need an all around bushing kit and new engine mounts, it already moves a LOT as is. The gears are fine, you'll need a tune, which is currently unavailable for superchargers. We can barely tune stock cars as is, we only have mail-in reflashes available and those are all over the place in terms of results.
