To celebrate all things blobby, fans of the 1959 Steve McQueen movie "The Blob," recreate the running out scene, which was originally filmed at The Colonial Theater in Phoenixville, Pa. Of course, unlike the movie, they don't run the 18 miles to the location of the Downingtown Diner! (In the movie it appears to be just across the street.)

  • People dress horribly and look stupid, compared to the1950s.

  • Gotta love the fun!!! Of all the "screaming Mimis" the funniest was the cool cat that looked like Buddy Holly from that same fateful year of 1959, just walking out, (at timer 0:17 through 0:22 ) like he was thinking of going over for a malted, not realizing he could be the Blob's next entree.. I love classic horror films, good ole 50's -60's style rock music and the attitude we Yanks can make it through anything, even nuclear war!

  • @partisan49 I know right? He's just casually walking out like "fuck this shit, i'm a lawyer i don't need this kind of crap."
