  • omg i was there my mom was the one who spoke before John Edwards

  • Her name was Carla right? I loved her comments about Sam Walton rolling over in his grave about what his namesake company has become. She gave a great speech. I posted it, but then I got banned and I'm not sure if I ever uploaded that video again. If I find it then I'll post the link so you can see her on the Tube.

She was really great. Thanks for your comment.

  • F u breck girl. Your an idiot, why don't you add a dollar or two.

  • Priceless. And it's "you're" as in "you are" not "your" as in "belongs to you," wait a minute ...

  • All I have to say to you all is Welcome to Corporate America. If not Wal-Mart it would be another large corporation that everyone would target. Other places sell junk that's made in China, they just charge you more for it.

  • But in this case, Costco is a good alternative. They pay their workers 18.00/hr and their CEO makes 300K a year, plus stock but COstco is good. They cover 85+ percent of their people with health ins. and have an auto-enroll company matched 401K plan.

Costco is a great alternative to Wal-Mart and they have far superior food to Wal-Mart's stuff. And this begs the question: if Costco can do it then why can't Wal-Mart?

  • The store I work in made 100 million dollars in ONE YEAR.

    That's ONE STORE.

The average worker is paid chump change.

They could pay every employee 20.00 a hour and NOT EVEN FEEL IT. They treat their workers like garbage. They took away merit pay raises. They capped pay for positions.

  • When I first heard about walmart employees working off the clock, not having healthcare etc last few years, I felt sorry for them, but not now. If things are THAT bad there-get a Union! What do they have to lose?

  • Steel workers? More like Steal workers. Those are the same lazy rats that wanted 50$/hr for cleaning water fountains while riding on a golf cart.

  • We'll have to get Hillary Clinton back on the board of that behemoth. WMT has associates on Medicaid because its the "universal healthcare" that democrats want. They also get $4 scripts, too

  • thanks and yea she got fired from Wal Mart When her Boss said her Doctor Escuse wasnt good enough

  • When South Carolina removed the Confederate Flag from the Statehouse, a Bar-B-Que magnate, Maurice Bessinger, raised Confederate Flags at his restaurants. Wal-Mart pulled his BBQ Sauce because they don't want to be associated with someone that promotes slavery. LOL
