Do your homework, and stop spouting nonsense. Only the shortblock is shared with the DSM, and it's ALL MOPAR, not Mitsu. Just because some know-nothings call the engine in the Neon a 420A, doesn't make it so. They don't share platforms, either.

I do agree that boosted Hondas are no joke. But strap a turbo to anything, tune it well, and it's gonna be a whole lot faster.

@badmuhfuh its true. Mitsubishi purchased the engine design from Mopar back in the late 80's. the dodge 2.2 is the predecessor to the mitsu engine and the mitsu engine shares alot of design elements from that engine.

@brendanboutin are you really serious? "no way a honda can beat a neon"...even if you include the SRT4(which most owners will not) you have to look no further than your average drag track to see which make is consistently faster...hell why do i see older neons gutted with 2.4 liter swaps and slicks only running 10.8's while ALOT of swapped hondas are doing that with less displacement and no boost or spray? I don't hate SRT4's or any car but ignorant owners like you make neon owners look stupid.

But im talkin abaout all dodge cars and trucks dodge charger and challenger are real rasing cars and rams and dakotas are real trucks!A Ram can pull 40 tons semi in winter! The Challenger srt8 is one of the fastest cars now! Hemi are the most powerfull engines ever! and as i said MOPAR OR NO CAR!!!
