My 5 1/2 month old Border Collie/Lab mix doing most of his tricks. The most I've been able to get him to alternate paws is 17 times before he said "Here! Just have both of them!" and gave up, lol. I need to stop saying "Good" after every trick.

  • Hmm. Maybe try dangling it a little higher and saying "Get it"? Oli caught on really fast, but then again he does on every trick (play dead in 15 min)

    Consistency is key :]

  • I love "beg". I am having troubles teaching my BC to beg though =(

  • @Court22132 The way I taught it was to have him sit then put the treat above his head and slowly move it up untill he sat up, then clicked when he was where I wanted him to be.
