Just got the manual focus ring I ordered from IrvDesign and took it for a quick test run. I'm happy :)

Can you attach any additional accesories like a filter or lens hood to the lens with the focus ring already attached?

@rtfilmpc Haha yeah. I see that, but I read it makes some unwanted noise, so I'm not sure how I feel about that.

@CaseyTheDrummerBoy Yes but the wheel is only a tiny little dial, the MFW makes it easier to achieve focus as it converts it into a wheel!

@sarangkorean It is only £11.99 (not sure about dollars) and it is made of metal not plastic.

@ezgoo You can add wide angle and telephoto's to it and DOF etc... Great cameras the HV40's. I have made alot of documentary style films with it including a film i had prmeiered at the southend film festival (Birdbrook ghost hunt) which is now being distributed!!! The Focus wheel is only £11.99 and helps you to pull focus easily for better looking shots!
