@NolaLouise He has 1000 SF and a portion of his enclosure that goes up into an oak tree. It is difficult to make it larger than that because it must be built in a manner that is structurally sound enough for him to climb across the ceiling on the inside. Based on funding, we are not likely to be able to build anything else for him in the near future, but what he has is literally 10 times the size of what he came from. He is over 21 year old. His activity level won't increase at this point.

Leopards are found from Africa all the way to China. Even in strange places like Iran and Afghanistan.

When I was a kid I was in a zoo park with parents. And there were 2 pathers in the cage. Black Pather was near the fence. I got her like a big cute cat. I pushed my hand through fence and flattered such beauty. Panther was only looking at my eyes with her hot and deadly look. And also looked at my parents. I'm glad that she didn't attacked me and let me to touch and flatter her.

@Tomasm21 You definitely could not do that with him. He looks so much friendlier than he actually would be if he got the chance.

Would the cat like it if I scratched his ears? He looks rather lonely.

@peskylisa If you even attempted to do that, he would take your arm off. He looks more docile than he really is.

He looks heatlhy but its too bad he can't have some space to run free. He will spend his life in a tiny enclosure. I guess the alternative is he will be shot by hunters. What a magnificent animal.

@fliegeroh And this is EXACTLY why people should not try to keep them as pets. He has a much bigger enclosure now but still shouldn't even have to be in one at all. He was abused and was rescued from his previous owner.
