If you want to get higher and then lose more altitude than on the WMDR then this is the ride for you ... size does indeed matter. Start at 5335m and drop a massive 4300m in total, all on rough dirt roads with tonnes of fun switchbacks. This ride is definitely tougher than the WMDR without being hard-core DH single track like the Secret Single Track rides, and without needing the fitness of the Jungle.
Rail Trail as such it makes a perfect second or third ride in Bolivia with the added bragging rights of it being more vertical descent than the WMDR.
