Great video. Great movie. I'm actually in the process now of doing an electric car conversion. I am going to use Ni-MH, and an AC drive motor. I expect to get 100 miles per charge. But I digress...

Killing the EV-1 may have been GMs best move. Now hang in there with me, because I do love EVs and the EV-1, but killing it brought about a passion for electric cars that may not have come around if they hadn't killed them. Because of that, the passion sparked has convinced automakers to go back to electric cars, and now every car maker has one planned out, or at least an efficient car or hybrid (ala Porsche). It also helped show what an EV needs to sell.
