Change the description of the video. I watched it because of the positive reviews, and now understand the comment, but originally it was misleading and made me think that you posted this video and then found out that it does NOT work (fit) because now the phone will not turn on. Might help some viewers to watch this video without the discrepancy.
@aSiLeNtPeNgUiN92 It'll be a tough decision, I'll take a look at the commuter but I think the built in screen protector is the deciding factor for me. I guess I'll just have to try rocking the holster for the sake of comfort and protection. Sometime I wish I didn't care so much. haha I'll wait on your video of the commuter though.
@MarkJRust I hear ya. Putting on screen protector after screen protector gets a bit old. this thing is a tank. if your looking for protection, i dont think there is a better case than this.
@MarkJRust be warned, this case makes your phone pretty difficult to get in and out of your pants (at least in jeans.) unless you keep it on the holster, i would suggest maybe getting a case with minimal rubber casing to stop the grip it keeps on the inside of your pants. maybe like the commuter. i will be doing a video on the Commuter when i get back home after new years. i dont expect you to wait till then but just letting you know.
@aSiLeNtPeNgUiN92 Thanks so much for the help, I think I'm set on the defender and will try my luck with the built in protector. I've dealt with so many screen protectors over the years I'm sick of having to install them, and trying to get them perfect. I just want a dust free and protected phone experience.
@MarkJRust No problem. Mine came off very easy. all the glue stayed on the protector itself, but my friends didnt come off so easy. we just took a knife and got the rest off. i imagine you could get "Goo B Gone" or whatever that stuff is called to get the glue off.
@aSiLeNtPeNgUiN92 Didn't taking out the built in one leave adhesive or glue on the case? Sorry for all the questions, I'm deciding if the case is worth my money.
@MarkJRust Only if you were going to rip off the built-in screen protector; thats what i did. i really dont like the built-in one; it makes my screen look greasy no matter how hard i clean it. the top snap-in part of the inner case has protection for right about the screen (where the camera, sensors, and speaker are), and right below the screen, so a added on screen protector isnt going to help any in regards to open spots. i would just get one because the built-in one is shit.

@aSiLeNtPeNgUiN92 Would you recommend getting a screen protector for under the defender then to cover any open spots?

@MarkJRust No, just the screen
