Rose Hulman Indy 2009

The Rose-Hulman University ASME HPV eam from Terre Haute, Indiana gets in some practice runs on the Major Taylor velodrome in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their carbon fiber composite vehicle is called the Mark IV designed and built by the students. Students Jeff Van Treuren, Ariel Young and Danny Sing are featured in this video.
This was one-week after the team won the ASME-East coast national collegiate HPV competition - for the second year in a row. One week after this day at Indy, they would be competing for the ASME-West coast national competition which they also won last year. The event they attended was a HPRA Human Powered Race America event which brings out various competitors from the mid-west and Canada.
