A 4-H Pledge - Keeping Youth Safe

Caring adults have the responsibility of preventing child abuse and neglect.
Adult volunteers make a difference in the lives of the youth who participate
in Extension¹s 4H programs and may be the first to observe warning signs of
a problem. This program covers the different kinds of abuse, how to
recognize them and what to do if you have good reason to suspect an
occurrence. Helping to clarify physical signs and explain the emotional and
psychological impacts of abuse are a pediatrician and child psychologist.
