Hi Jeff, I wanted to ask you why can't you sight this scope at 100 yards instead of the 200 yards. What's the difference?? And what happens if one goes for the 100 yards instead of the 200 yards when sighting the scope??? Thanks for your time and your help in advance.

You can sight it in at any distance you like.

Jeff your instruction on how to bracket the scope for range finding is a bit off from the manufacturers manual and instructional videos. Can you double check how you bracket the animal on the scope by adjusting the power, then get back to us. I believe you bracket between the center cross hair and one of the upper two chevrons, this will automatically move the upper most line up or down to read out the numbers.

If you sight it at 100 yards instead of 200 yards then your indexes would be 100 yards less... 300 yards index would now be 200 yards, and 400 yards would be 300 yards, so on and so on...
