At Apia, we love a chat. Whether it's sorting out a claim, answering a question about an existing insurance policy or arranging a new one, we're never too busy to talk.
In fact, the friendly phone calls we have every day are literally our best advertisement. The Apia ads you see on the TV, hear on the radio and read in the paper are real conversations between Apia consultants and Australian over 50s.
People like Sue and Terry from Victoria. Real customers who, in their own words, proves that dealing with an insurance company can be a rewarding experience.
As well as being an annnoying ad it also shows the type of driver APIA insures. At 9 seconds into the ad Terry pulls across a dual carriageway - blocking the ouside lane and nearly causing an accident with the car coming from his right which appears to swerve to miss him. Directly after that Terry is shown taking his left hand off the wheel to open up the map so he can read it while he is driving. Even though they can pay quarterly, is this really the type of driver APIA really wants?

I'm so sorry but I just have to go online and express how I feel about this ad. It is soooo very annoying and irratating! It drives me crazy every time that its on. The Insurance lady who answers the phone and goes on and on aksing questions and responding to the other lady's personal life/travel ect is really agrivating. :(
