Okay.... its my 3rd day learning the main part of the song, it has some rough moments, but its fun. I got rid of my JSX AMP and now have an Egnater Renegade head running through a Marshall 412 1960A cabinet.... NOTE TO ALL GUITARIST..NO MATTER WHAT IT WILL COST!!!... GET A HALF STACK, YOU WILL NEVER BE HAPPY WITH YOUR SOUND UNTIL YOU DO...THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT A 412 CAB THAT MAKES IT HAPPEN.....WOOOHOOO!!!!!! THE EGNATER RENEGADE IS REAL SWEET TOO...... I placed the camera away from the amp as to not distort the microphone and away from me so that you would not see a fat middle aged old man sitting in his underwear. This was after a 3 hours hammering out of the song with the backing tracks Paul put on his DVD SILENCE FOLLOWED BY A DEAFENING ROAR...GET IT....., more work to do, its kinda like the professional ice skater working up to the triple lux... Paul is my main hero right now, but I love them all, Satch, Morse, Vai...... so I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for any comments good or bad...... got to love YouTube!

  • Nice tone man, what do you have for pedals / guitar?

  • EBMM Steve Morse, blue burst-early model.

  • xcellent-dish out your settings if you could pleez-eggie cab?

  • I have the Renegade head through a Marshall 412 1960A. My settings on the amp are: Gain/7-8, Bass/10(ABV=at bedroom volume), mid/6, treb/6, tubeMix/10(EL34s), Density/10 ABV otherwise with the band 4-5. Thats about it. This Vid is in the 18 watt mode, I use 65 with the band and cut out some of the bottom when live.

  • very nice sound, good playing too. keep videos coming

  • Is the 1960 cabinet loaded with Celestion G12T75 ?

  • You've come a long way since I found you homeless on a street in Carbondale. Before you know it you'll be playing the music for a Kraft Mac n Cheese Commercial!!

  • well played, but too much distortion in the intro part.

  • no pedals, just amp distortion.
