To those who care about such things; this movie IS NOT based on a true story as all the movie web sites are saying. "Wikipidia" says that the movie is NOT true, and has a quote from the filmmaker Paul Verhoeven, saying as such. Just thought everyone would like to know but, don't take my word for it, check it out yourself.
