Single shot with Silvia - Manaresi coffee

I got that wonderful coffee from a friend who visited Italy.
I use Rancilio portafilter with E61 single filter basket and commercial single spout. Besides that the Silvia is stock.
I have started brewing at 1.26 and ended 30 seconds after. I could have stopped after 25 seconds but still it was OK (the flow got disturbed after 25 secs).
I guess the "hiccup" after 10 seconds is because I am not doing WDT for single shots.

@shragayofer Oh I see. Did a little research, and there's some wisdom that recommends the E61 baskets over the stock Rancilio basket.

I tried pulling singles with the stock Rancilio basket, and it was abominable. It's just widely acknowledged that the stock single basket does not produce a shot worth anything decent.

But it appears the E61's singles are superior.

I wasn't accusing you of falsehood. It was a compliment, if anything. I could never produce a single shot that nice.
