VMAs decade [2000 - 2001] Part. I

The MTV Video Music Awards established themselves as one of the best and biggest award shows on the planet since 2000 with the begining of the first decade of the new millennium.

2000 and 2001 years were led by late 90's teen pop acts and boybands such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, J.Lo and N Sync, rapper Eminem was also in the led specially in rap music as the first white raper ever!
-Eminem took the award for Video Of The Year in 2000 thanks to his smash hit "The Real Slim Shady" who also perform that year with tons of eminem clons parading since the outside of the Radio City Music Hall in New York.
-Teen pop sensations and rivals Britney and Christina introduce legend Whitney Houston.
-Beyonce and Justin Timberlake were still part of successful pop groups Destiny's Child and Nsync this last ruled this first 2 years even gettin a surpise performance with all time biggest legend Michael Jackson.
-In Rock music Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park were leading even gettin other rocks bands mad like when Tim from Rage Against The Machine lost the award to Limp Bizkit in 00 and even trying to have his own moment by climbing the set during Fred Durst speech, who also made a little sorprise appearence during 2000 Christina Aguilera's performance.
-While Britney was also doing her thing making her first headlines by startin to lose her 'innocence' teen image practically strippin' with a skin-colored attire during her 'Oops I Did It Again' 2000 performance and next year performing for the first time her new single 'I'm A Slave 4 U' with a snake on her shoulders.
-The ladies from 'Moulin Rouge' which include Christina Aguilera and P!nk rock 01 with their #1 soundtrack "Lady Marmalade" who also took the award for Video Of the Year.
