yay! i love so much this song XD

ehh.. sounds more like Mike and the Mechanics than Genesis. Not bad, though.

@BarberSpider8 and good riddance......I hated "Calling All Stations" when it came out in '97!

A chronological Selling England era fan here (1973); musically we go back to Nursery Cryme, discovered along with SE; but I'm beginning to think of this song/recording, as perhaps my favorite Genesis tune, simply by default, since I've been hitting it to death here, for probably the past six months. Banksprogheim is right: it's awesome!

If Mike and Tony ever see this, I wanna tell 'em that these CAS b sides are to me the revelation of the Calling sessions. They really created something with this song and Run Out of Time, for sterling examples. They made something I'm enjoying the heck out of, so they accomplished something noteworthy with this project, in my book.

@freiheitsalv Yeah, Ray was suppose to do another album or two with the band, but since the poor sales of ...CAS... the band and managment decided that it wasn't worth trying to build up the new line-up with constant touring and a new release back to back.

@BarberSpider8 is that true? :S that sucks........jeez he's not to blame!

the only reason this cut didn't make cas is because someone told tony banks that it would be a fantastic idea!
This record keeps getting better and better in the musical sanctuary of my soul, so subtle and abundant are its charms. I hope that more 'seekers' happen upon it. Mike and Tony at their usual best.

I love Genesis, and this is a pretty cool song; it just sounds like something people would play on a photo slideshow. I don't know why.
And Calling All Stations is a great album, with the exception of a couple of weak tracks.
