  • @oomblikkies The only problem is the acceleartion, when the module starts to accelerate to the train speed, and starts to deccelerate to 0. This will not be any problem for them, it is the same in ordinary hi-speed train. All depends on the length of the platform, which can be high.

  • @viewerdotcom I think once you get onto the upper deck, you can go down and wait at the bottom deck. When the train arrives at station 3, you go up again to exit the train.

  • china we love you :)

    greeting from israel

  • So if the frequency method doesn't work, then my original reason stands, as being time consuming. This idea is only as good as an add-on, alleviating very small percentage of commuter.

  • This concept means that every X amount of passenger to go for shorter distant, it require X+Y amount of passenger to go longer distant. That, I find not possible

  • But in reality, there are less people would want to go from station 1 to 10 for the longer distant, and more people would likely to transit between lower station. Hence when you buy your house, you are likely to consider recreational distant, work distant and shopping distant.

  • Ok, lets assume that, the frequency of the bottom deck are closely resemble to the ones that are like current subway system. This assumption means that there is more passenger who wants to go from station 1 to hypothetically to lets say station 10 for bottom deck.

  • I don't like this idea, its actually time consuming. For example, lets say you want to go from station one to station three, when passenger gets to station two, it leaves the upper deck in station two, then you have to wait until the next bottom deck to come and carry the upper to your next station, and how long does that take? What about to station 4 or station 5. it becomes more wait time.

  • whatttt...

they use to do this in wild west .

  • @strongestass I guess he was thinking of Hong-Kong, Shanghai and the overcrowded trains before Chinese new-year.
