Agree with the above, when you see the stuff I still have..... But yeah, I would still use my 90's Campri ski suit, its loud as hell but I still love it. Plus gortex might be a great material, but all the new snowboarding suits are so boring, I mean, grey and black with some white lines on...woooo adventurous, and your ego will be massaged by all the people looking at you...except they arent coz they're too busy skiing, probably in a 20 year old ski suit they're perfectly happy with.

I think a one-piece skisuit is better when
a two-piece.
Much varmer, and no snow inside the pants.

why buy a new outfit, when your old one is still warm and dry... It's about skiing and having fun. Not about how stupid you look. but still... you're right.
