  • why didnt it beep when you pressed the button and the floor changed like the rest of thoses otis elevators do

  • It's probably broken.

  • have you seen my thyssenkrupp holiday inn elevator car one the buzz was broken when the floos change but I hate that buzz any way but otis has a nice beep

  • Otis does have one. I believe that the ThyssenKrupp/Dover beep is designed so that the hard-of-hearing can hear it.

  • The older Otis elevators designed just like that did not have the beep. there is an old one like that in my church and it doesn't beep.

  • I think it is for hearing impaired but could the tone/ding/chimes die out after a while the glass elevator at monroville mall doesnt ding any more like it used to it doesnt ding at all and the direction indecators dont work any more either and were never replaced it had the indecaters liken the otis arrows but they were red not green but they haddnt worked for a year will they ever fix it?
