@ headofHydra SERE course is not just about survival it is also about evading capture, resisting interrogation, and trying to escape and survive behind enemy lines. I served in the military and I am a survivalist as a hobby. Things you do in a regular survival situation can be far different when you are evading capture. Light discipline might hinder a rescue but hide your position and fires can be a dead give away so you would have go without. I agree we are getting weaker in this country.

You know I'm sitting here watching this and I'm thinking...Wait, how crazy is it that we have to train people to do this shit and everyone thinks it is super hardcore? A couple hundred years ago, shit like this was known and practiced by every boy and man from age 13 up! Killing your own food, surviving, all that. Of course this shit is hardcore, but holy crap we've really become pussies as human beings, lol.

hey reptile have you ever served your country? because from my experience in the air force, everyone i know has respect for eachother. marines, navy, army it doesn't matter, were all there to support eachother and we respect that!
