A buzzing future for honey in Ethiopia

Hailegiorgis Demissie, the manager of the Bezamar honey processing plant in Ethiopia, works with over 1000 beekeepers. At the beginning of 2008, with the support of SNV, Haile succeeded in getting Ethiopia listed as a country that is allowed to export honey and other bee products to the European Union.

After Bezamars first export, Haile received excellent feedback about the quality of his honey, and the bee keepers have increased their production by 50%. Each gained about $151 from this sale.

You guys need to change the title of the video to include "Ethiopia" so that people can find this video. THis was a great vid showing north african beekeeping.
