Actually Peter Jacksons films are more accurate and faithful because as I remember it, the book does not portray any of the characters as a total faggot. This cartoon however, portays every character as a total faggot. In Peter Jacksons films they are heroes just as they are in the books.
I agree there should be room for some rearrangement. But PJ made so many unecceseary changes

Legolas implies there were no kings after Isildur. Completly false.

Both this and PJ's films are very good and right in their own interpretation of the novels. I like how PJ put together the story especially having to rearrange certain things to make things work. Remember, because of time constraints not everything will fit,
