@evevone09 My surgery was 3 months ago and i am virtually pain free , i get a little stiffness in the morning(left hand middle finger)but some cases can take longer i suspect.My work is engineering based so it could take a little longer to be totally pain free P.S well worth getting done good luck.

@Mr572u
This is a real patient. A tourniquet is used to minimize bleeding during the surgery.

We discovered my trigger finger condition almost a year ago was treated with anti-inflammatory meds 1 cortisone shot on my palm and 1 on my elbow about 6 months. Symptoms went away and are back again, worst. Wondering if surgery is my next step..... I do a lot of typing.

Could be. Make sure you consult a real hand surgeon. Go to handcare.org for more info

@evevone09
The surgery is straightforward. Stitches come out after 2 weeks or so and then you can use your hand as tolerated. It is normal to have swelling, stiffness and some soreness for a few months, on and off, depending on how much you use your hands. Go to handcare.org for more info and watch the other trigger finger video where the patient is interviewed.
