For those who don't know "Godwin's Law" here is something from wiki:
Godwin's Law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies)[1] is a humorous observation made by Mike Godwin in 1990 which has become an Internet adage. It states: "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."[2][3] The term Godwin's law can also refer to the tradition that whoever makes such a comparison is said to "lose" the debate.
Funny how the politicians in this city/state keep crying that they have no money, that the city and state are broke and essential services have to be cut, yet somehow they found $48 million to fund a bid for the Olympics. I've lived here all my life but they are taxing and pricing us all out of living here. Daley, Stroger, Quinn, they all need to be voted out.
But under Daleys regime we've seen our taxes skyrocket, the Mayor tears up Meigs field at night with no one watching. The city and state keep crying they are broke as far as providing certain critical services/CTA fare stability etc, but somehow they found $48 million dollars to fund a bid for the Olympics. Meanwhile the cost of living in this city keeps going up and we keep getting taxed, taxed, taxed. I'm sick of it.
If you felt your ears pop this morning it was nothing to worry about. It was just the atmosphere trying to balance itself as it rushed to fill the vacuum formed when our failure of a Mayor Daleys head imploded! Couple that with Dear Leader's appearance at Copenhagen and a few days ago on that arrogant adulterer Letterman's show! Whohoo! A few good days, a few good days!!!!!! Awesome fuckin' video!
