Gymnastics is a cruel sport.Especially elite gymnastics. And due to athletes having to be soo good at such a young age you must start young. People have to understand this is elite gymnastics in a poverty stricken country. If their child is good at gymnastics it can mean being able to have food and clothing for them also. It is just so sad that its at the cost of a childhood.

id like someone to doa doc on the children that were in this school and are now 22, and see what they say its a bit too much. I see no kindness, mercy or compassion towards thse little children. why so severe and do they also do this in America

This video broke my heart. I think children are pushed into gymnastics way too young. If a child shows interest, I think they should be encouraged, but not pushed beyond what their young bodies can do. I have often watched young gymnasts from all over the world at competitions, and to me 95% of them look undernourished and pensive.
