Vaan supposedly can have as much as 5680 base HP and 330 base MP (roughly) by the time he gets level 99. So, how do you get that? Since the amount of HP and MP you get upon leveling up is purely randomized, by saving just before you level up, leveling up, then saving to a second file immediately after, quitting, reloading the slightly older save, get the level up again, and, if this level up results in higher HP and/or MP, save to the second file again, otherwise quitting and reloading for another attempt. When done, load the more recent save file, get close to the next level up, and repeat, doing this a total of 98 times. I've also learned a few new tricks as well, such as going into Nalbina Town to get better armor than otherwise possible, then using greeden in the Estersand to get braid wool used to get a pair of highly defensive magic-oriented pieces of equipment. It's kind of like an extension to the "how to get level 99 fast & early" series as I also detail on the 100-hour method, of which is actually more around 80 hours for a fast run. I'm also after testing something involving quickenings and espers and it's this that's caused me to return to FF12. Trouble is, I'd have to make quite a bit of story progress before the test itself can be deemed a success or failure....

  • I was just wandering, just hypotheticaly,(if i want to have perfect hp/mp with everybody at once)if i have perfect hp/mp with vaan on level eg 15 and then balthier and fran join the party, will they also have max hp/mp on their level 16?Should i reset and load again the game or just play without leveling up until i get everybody into the party and then leveling up?

  • I tried that routine - it doesn't work. If you truly and absolutely want a perfect, you'll need to obtain all 6 characters with Vaan at level 1, Balthier and Fran at level 2, and the others at level 3 (and even then, you're not guaranteed a perfect, unless you go through certain tedious events potentially dozens of times. I would strongly suggest going for near perfection. Get all 6 characters on as low of a level as you can handle, then use my leveling grounds to go from there.

  • what bow are you using

  • It's the burning bow, the most powerful weapon you can get until you get the dawn shard where the zodiac spear and defender become accessible, if you know how to get them. How to get the burning bow is explained in stage 5 of my videos, stage 4 in my GameFAQs powerleveling guide (of which needs an update). That same guide also explains how to get the golden skullcap, maximillian, crown of laurels, and many other near-best pieces of equipment.

  • You always strive for perfection, And that, is why i respect you.

  • Oh god, I would love to watch ulillillia play Oblivion. He'd show off every little thing of the game. It would be amazing. Here's hoping you do, uli.

  • Now say "mmmkay" at the end of every sentence LOL

  • Thank you.

  • The HP bonuses are so slight that I find them essentially worthless. Sure you can get over 100 HP for a single level up at one point, you're already near the maximum for both HP and MP at level 99 making the HP and MP bonuses essentially worthless. Vigor and Magic are really the only 2 worthy ones, with speed being a fairly distant third (vigor at 128 or magic at 105 are my stopping points - I go for speed afterwards until level 99). I've defeated Kefka without needing to restore HP....

  • @poopalisk Making sure you keep Odin until Lv. 99 is important to keep his one-of-a-kind speed boost, and to get max HP and MP, Bahamut and Crusader need only be equipped for the last few level ups. Otherwise you can choose whatever other stats to raise as much as you like. I hope I'm not just fueling your ocd.

  • this is like an mmorpg where u solo grind hehe

i would like to try this

  • 6:08-6:38 LOL
