Story 17

Nick: Oh my god, Lindsey! I had no idea. I feel so bad for trying to make you go to the ER. I understand now. Please forgive me.
Lindsey: I know you were only trying to help. I was never mad, just terrified.
Nick: Do you feel that?
Lindsey: Feel what?
Nick: That connection? I know we've known each other for only a matter of a few days, but I really feel connected to you. Its an awesome feeling and I really want to get to know you better.
Lindsey: I feel it too. But Nick, you know how I said I live life to the fullest?
Nick: Yea.
Lindsey: Well, I never rush into anything.
Nick: Well, you don't have to rush; I promise well just be friends for now. I just really like being around you. You're my new best friend! (He smiles)
Lindsey: Sounds great!!
Nick: So, how are you feeling?
Lindsey: Very woozy, like I'm floating in the air. (She laughs) What exactly did your mom give me for painkillers?
Nick: (laughs) I'm not sure, but I think its kicking in! Come on, lets get you inside!

(Nick helps her inside and helps her sit down on the couch. He sits next to her and puts his arm around the top of the couch behind her shoulders. Lindsey looks up at him and smirks...)

Nick: What?
Lindsey: You, this, Hollywood.
Nick: What? (laughs)
Lindsey: You, Nick Jonas having his arm around me, this, me having an injured foot and spending the night at your house, Hollywood, being everything I wanted it to be.
Nick: (is grinning now) I'm so glad you moved!
Lindsey: (she lays her head down on his shoulder and looks up at him) Yea, so am I.
Nick: Ya know, you might be the best friend I've ever had (AN: My favorite quote from the movie Hes Just Not into You)
Lindsey: You ain't seen nothing yet!
