@coolnick52 Winter 2001-02 saw numerous outrageously warm days in the Northeastern US as well. There were a number a days that winter where NYC reached the 70s.

@ZackHodgson incedentally the winter of 2001-2002 was the warmest! I remember it being 70 degrees many times in february and a heat wave in march! 90 degree weather in north carolina

@coolnick52 Yes, 1999-00 was a cold winter, at least in December 1999 and January 2000 in GA, NC, and SC. February 2000 however turned quite warm after about February 10, 2000.

@ZackHodgson 1999-2000 was to!! In north carolina we got a snowstorm that dumped 2 feet of snow in some places, and it was a bitter one!! also on the 19 of november 2000 we in NC got our earliest accumulating snow
