But the points system hadn't been introduced then. All that was official was that "Refrain" won.

This is not the only song that deserves more than nul points. "De Vogels van Holland" of 1956 is the first song ever performed at the contest and should have won.

My all time favorite German entry - completely out of line with what Germany chose for the ESC in that period, pacey Samba rhythm, great voice - and much better than the 0 point result may suggest
