  • I'd give it a tune up and ensure it's running as good as it can, these pipes just accentuate the sound of the stock muffler and allow you to hear any tuning problems. Mine did this too and after a proper tune up it sounds just fine.

Sounds like yours might be over fuelling or not burning all the fuel in the cylinders.

  • Yup, just look in my other videos.

  • Yeah they work just fine, they do fade somewhat quickly though and don't over tighten the four screws that hold the lenses onto the houseings. I have a video of them too I think.

  • Hi dont know if you could help...but have just fitted some tapered exhaust tailpipes to my bug, and it does sound good, but it seems to be popping and banging now when I am decelerating..? Any ideas?

  • Hey man how are those tail lights? I saw them on CiP1 site for $18 complete assembly, I need to replace mine since some of the assembly holes when attaching the tail light covers are broken from age. I have a 74 std bug. Also, is it easy to swap out?

  • sounds sick!!! :)
