@naturallydien I completely agree with you. I happened to see her first debut at San Francisco from where this excerpt is from. That was a memsmerizing one and half hour non-stop program.

@naturallydien i agree that her footwork is clear & has good chakkars but some of the moves with the body & hands are over done. it seems like there is no contril over the body compare her with Pt. Birju Maharaj or Ranjendra Gangani

I disagree with il3ef61. She's very stylized and her footwork is extremely clear. You can tell she's trained not to take shortcuts, something I see a lot of with other Kathak dancers.

All I wanna add to all these comments, is I get goosebumps every time I see this! Fabulous Thaat, strong layakari! Strong chakkars/footwork and how!! so joy emanating out which you can hear in the audience's response too!
