well in order to expel a problem you need to define it clearly, and i believe the sub-consciouse, and becoming aware of the problem, nameing it feeling it does release it. When its not clearly defined you repeat it over and over. i think its great advice
Perhaps that expression should be an 'alchemic expression'. As a rather facile example of what I mean, if you feel angry, try cleaning your house! You'll never clean it as fast as you will when you're angry! Or sit still and really be with that anger and then write a poem, a poem that arises from the 'being with,' perhaps the compassion that eventually comes... Such expressions allow the energy to keep moving rather than be stagnated, they also allow the energy to continue its process....
please! he just basically says that to release the negative emotion we should identify it and (he repeats) release the negative emotion. he's not answering the question of HOW to release emotion!!!!
yeah I heard that too.... especially with anger. But in my expeience at least, if I feel the emotions with awareness, knowing that they're there, they diminish
