Shirley Shillingford-2008 Outstanding Performance Award

Shirley Shillingford has been with the Commission for 33 years and is the Resource Coordinator for the Healthy Baby Healthy Child Program.
Shirley shows dedication and commitment to the community as well as the Healthy Baby Healthy Child Program. Shirley was involved in starting the Healthy Baby Healthy Child Food pantry in 1992 in Hyde Park. At that time there was no funding, civic groups were the contributors and the food pantry continues to do well to this day. She has also been instrumental in providing Holiday Baskets and winter coats to clients and providing resources for the Summer Enrichment Camp.
