  • this is a great sounding guitar

  • @2dumd2die Thank you so very much. It's very "ME". lol Much appreciated!

  • ,I would love to see that in person, now I know you dont know me from hell butt I'd still like to see this I own 15 Iceman guitars 2 custom,I love Ibanez but since I was friends with Randy Rhoads I got hooked to Jackson.you can see all mine too I only have 80 guitars so I'm still working up to an even 100 or 200!well let me know what ya think.I do that guitar but I too metal to even consider doing what you did and you did it right!

  • @mdskewes Thanks very much. Yeah, this turned out exactly like I personally wanted it. Amazing. I haven't been able to bond with any Ibanez since 1984. Something really went to hell with them after that. What it was, who knows, but I can't think of one axe of thiers I would own made after then. I loved a lot of the late 70's stuff. The Super 70's and 80's Pickups were really great, but it's been ugly since. I liked the pre Fender Jackson axes too. Superb necks on those things for sure!

  • what //////////ibanez did was the fire with 3 singles and it sounds like hell unless paul gilbert is playing it.I have these KISS .fans of me that I'm comin up to visit these guys

  • @mdskewes Yep, they did the Fireman a few years after I contacted them to do my Iceman. They were total dicks about the whole thing. I couldn't be happier either since I ended up with a much better axe going with the good folks that built mine than if Ibanez would've built it. Plus, with the addition of the 3 Silver Lace pickups, it is amazing sounding instead of what the nasty Fireman sounds like or worse yet, what the new, REALLY cheap version of the Fireman sounds like. Fireman is horrible.

  • @vezonproductions Very cool! I grabbed a few of these shirts from Ebay after I got my first one. I knew I would wear that first one out.....so, I really stockpiled them. lol

  • funny how you say your a huge kiss fan and your wearing the same Gene Simmons shirt as me....

  • @groovydjs Well, I just checked and that red is all that there is (figures). I could probably stand it if it wasn't for that horrible red, mother of toilet seat pickguard and the white plastic on the pickups and knobs etc. Yep, that can all be changed out quickly. So, the headstock it BLACK, so why all of those other color combinations on here? Who knows. lol But, I'll grab one up and change all of the plastic to black and see if the pickups can be angled differently with the routes.

  • @medude6652 Thank you for posting that! I just visited the Ibanez site and I know that the TR stands for Transparent Red, I'm going to hunt around and see if it's available in any other colors. Red is my personal, least favorite color for guitars. I really do appreciate you posting the info though. I will have to give one a spin.
